Either way, pickup is from your hotel or a private address in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and the drive to Chuong Village takes just under an hour.

First Stop – Chuong Village

The tour opens at Chuong Village, where conical hat making has been passed down through local families for roughly 300 years. Walking through the village, guests meet artisans working through each stage of the process, splitting bamboo ribs, layering palm leaves, and stitching everything into the finished non la shape.
