What to Expect?

Morning: Check-In and Departure

Guests check in at Ha Long International Cruise Port between 9:00 and 9:30 AM and board the Luna Halong cruise, where the crew handles a brief welcome and safety orientation before departure at 10:00 AM. The cruise then begins its voyage through Halong Bay’s limestone seascape.

International Buffet Lunch

From 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, guests are seated at the onboard restaurant for a buffet lunch featuring close to 100 dishes across Asian and European cuisine, a step up from the set seafood menus typical of standard day cruises, and a good fit for groups with mixed tastes.

Luon Cave and Optional Kayaking

Between 12:30 and 1:30 PM, the cruise stops near Luon Cave, where guests can join a guided visit or opt into kayaking through the cave’s calm, cliff-lined lagoon for an additional charge. Both options offer a close-up look at one of the bay’s quieter corners.

Sung Sot Cave Exploration

From 1:45 to 2:45 PM, the ship docks so guests can explore Sung Sot Cave, widely regarded as one of the largest and most impressive caves in Halong Bay. Its chambers are filled with dramatic stalactite and stalagmite formations built up over thousands of years.

Ti Top Island & Beach

Between 3:00 and 3:45 PM, guests visit Ti Top Island, where the choice is simple: hike to the summit for a panoramic view over the bay, or relax and swim at the island’s white sandy beach.

Afternoon Tea and Sunset

From 4:00 to 5:00 PM, the cruise winds down with afternoon tea and live music on deck, timed to coincide with sunset over the limestone karsts, a highlight for guests who prefer a slower, more scenic close to the day.

Return to Port

The cruise arrives back at Ha Long International Cruise Port at 5:00 PM, concluding the program.

Child policy

Infants under 2 years old stay free of charge (maximum of 2 children per booking group). From the third child onward, the child rate for ages 2–4 will apply.
Children aged 2 to 4 years are charged 50% of the adult rate.
Children aged 5 to under 12 years are charged 75% of the adult rate.
Children aged 12 years and above are charged at the full adult rate.

Cancellation policy

The cancellation and amendment period is calculated based on the scheduled service date.

Low Season

More than 10 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
From 5 to 9 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
Within 3 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.

Peak Season

More than 14 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
From 7 to 13 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
Within 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.

Public Holidays and Tet Festival

More than 30 days before arrival: Free cancellation.
From 21 to 29 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
Within 21 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total booking value will be charged.

Important Notes

All cancellations and booking amendments must be submitted in writing via email and confirmed by both parties.
Refunds will not be provided for cancellations that do not comply with the above policy.
Any deposit or payment transferred by the customer is non-refundable if the cancellation terms are not met.

The itinerary may be adjusted without prior notice to accommodate weather or operational conditions, though all sightseeing activities are still guaranteed.
During winter months, departure may be delayed by up to 30 minutes.
Activities marked as optional, such as kayaking, carry an additional charge.
